Rome Georgia Business Reviews – Pete and the Flag 7 team dive deep on local biz, showcasing new and upcoming businesses, terrible restaurants you should avoid, hip shops, and more.
We <3 diving deep into new Rome businesses.
This week, Pete toured some pretty exciting places in downtown Rome, and was very fortunate to get to meet and great with the owners!
(and also eat at Moe’s, which was absolutely incredible. BBQ and banana pudding highly recommended)
Do Good Boutique
Owners Allison and Renee was super kind to me at Do Good Boutique on Broad street.
A few things:
- Their shop is gorgeous.
- Every item in the store is super fun, funky, hip, and cool. They curate things well.
- They support several local charities and non-profits, and they also only buy products from companies who also “do good.” (see video for more)
If those weren’t reasons enough to shop there, Allison and Renee are great people. So stop by and buy something!
Farrell’s Frame and Design
Chris Farrell wasn’t there when I stopped by, but his wife and co-owner Amanda was, and she’s a delight!
Farrell’s is a custom framing shop and art gallery, and their store is actually quite huge. There’s a ton to look at. I recommend stopping by just to browse the art…but if you need framing (graduation anyone?)…Farrell’s is the place to do it in Rome.
Moe’s Original BBQ
In case you’re wondering, YES, that is me taking a bathroom selfie in Moe’s.
Why you ask?
Because they’re bathroom are unbelievably clean. You should know that.
Also, their BBQ pulled pork, slaw, and banana pudding were off the charts (in a good way).
Want me to review and interview other Rome Georgia Businesses?
Good, because I’m going to…
But you should drop me a line here and let me know what you’d like to see! Any particular place seem intriguing and you’d like a deal there?
Let me know and I’ll make it happen.
